INJURY
Shoulder Rotator Cuff (noun): Rotator cuff tears occur in a chronic or acute manner. A chronic tear, which develops over a period of time, results from the tendon rubbing against the overlying bone. An acute tear is a sudden or powerful movement, as in a baseball pitch or falling onto an outstretched hand.
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
Individuals will complain of an increasing pain with overhead arm movement, clicking in the shoulder, heightened shoulder laxity, and tenderness on the front, side and back of the shoulder.
